Job Description

Your duties will encompass:

• Working with Heat treatment furnaces, Mechanical, Dimensional and Chemical analysis inspection.
• Supervision of the heat treatment and quality inspection workstations to ensure effective component flow to facilitate the company assembly line.
• Managing heat treatment personal and inspectors.
• Ensuring inspection and furnace equipment is working.
• Monthly stock taking of equipment and furnace furniture.
• Sourcing and purchasing of heat treatment equipment, inspection equipment and consumables.
• Weekly and monthly reporting on heat treatment through-put, re-works and calculating furnace efficiencies.
• Quality inspection on carburizing and stainless steel.
• Training mechanical inspector.
• Planning of material to be heat treated.

Qualifications

• Engineering Qualification

Skills

• Minimum 3 years' experience in a technical, mechanical, or metallurgical background.
• Proficient in MS Office.

Salary / Package

R250K - R310K CTC
