The client is a well-established Quantity Surveying consultancy that specialises in engineering cost management.

Job Description

The incumbent will be office-based and reporting to the Director. There is a requirement for site visits across South Africa and in African countries where the client operates. The duties are as follows but are not limited to:

• Estimating Services
• Feasibilities Studies
• Contract Administration
• Measuring on Dimx
• BoQ Production on WinQS
• Monthly Progress Certificates
• Cost Management and Control
• Financial Reporting

Qualifications

• BSc in Quantity Surveying (minimum)
• Registration with SACQSP as a Candidate QS
• Minimum of 5 years' Quantity Surveying experience with at least 3 focused on the Mining Sector (Surface and Underground, Process Plants, Infrastructure - Civils, SMPP, EC&I)

• DimensionX
• Ability to measure for SMPP and EC&I projects (non-negotiable)
