Job Description

• Ensure the effective, efficient, and secure operation of all information technology systems within the company.
• Manage and oversee a range of IT aspects, including hardware maintenance and upgrades, software integration and migration, and network infrastructure enhancements.
• Oversee potential migrations of Exchange, SQL, domain controller, file server, and other systems to the cloud
• Support all IT software systems within the company (e.g., Microsoft, SysPro, CuroQuip, TransLution, VIP).
• Conduct routine testing, upgrades, and maintenance of all IT hardware.
• Enhance & troubleshoot switches, cabling, cabinets, fibre backbone, and fail-over systems.
• Account for all IT assets and establish a replacement program.
• Implement and maintain systems for regular backups and audits.
• Maintain high-level IT security
• Provide ongoing IT security training to staff.
• Update and maintain firewall, antivirus, and email security measures.
• Conduct vulnerability & penetration testing.
• Develop and manage an IT budget
• Forecast costs related to hardware upgrades, software integration, IT security, staff training and development, and other operational expenses.

Qualifications

• Degree in Information technologies

Skills

• Possess strong skills and knowledge in web-based programming (e.g., JavaScript, HTML, CSS, PHP) for interfacing with MSSQL and MySQL databases.
• Strong knowledge & experience in SQL programming querying MSSQL & MySQL databases
• Knowledge & experience with Delphi, C/C++, C# & Python specifically is beneficial, but proficiency in any language will be advantageous
