Job Description

Your responsibilities will be the following:

• Manage a team of Product Managers and Account Managers
• Manage a portfolio for Coatings and Construction
• Ensure materialisation of working platform
• Directing and assertively pushing the sales team to promote new products and look at new markets
• Ensure the sales team is working with CRM system
• Working capital management – debtors days, no bad debts, stock holding targets are met and sales team is taking stock as per forecast
• Continuously searching for opportunities within the market.
• Ensure market data is relevant and updated – market intelligence.
• Strategically growing the portfolio of customers.
• Strategizing the business outlook for 3 – 5 years and ensure materialization of objectives
• 12 month Budgeting
• 5-6 year forecasting
• Assisting the sales team with technical briefs and new product development.
• Price negotiations at senior levels.

Qualifications

• Matric
• BSc in Life Science discipline will be beneficial

Skills

• Minimum 6 years technical and commercial experience within the Coatings and Construction industries.
• Must have sound understanding of pricing structures.
• Minimum 5 years management role leading a team

 

Salary / Package

R75,000 - R100,000 CTC
