Job Description
You will be tasked with:
Overall completion of tenders, including co-ordination of tender deliverables, procurement and submissions.
Supervising tender department and pricing all variations, site instructions & compensation events.
Compiling take-offs in CCS Candy software and overseeing junior QS take offs.
Compiling Standard Systems BOQ from Candy QTO take-offs.
Understand and read contractual requirements of all tenders.
Writing and planning full Project schedules for construction teams on CCS Candy.
Complete all commercial documentation to comply with clients’ needs.
Ensure site personnel are provided with proper documentation related to projects.
Formulate cost break down from estimates and for project progress.
Managing Sub-contractor payment certificates and confirming completed work with project managers.
Qualifications
National Diploma or BTech in Civil Engineering/ Quantity Surveying.
Strong understanding and knowledge of Construction Contracts.
10+ years experience as an estimator on Civil Engineering Projects.
Skills
Proficient with MS Projects, Excel and CCS Candy.
Ability to work under pressure.
Time management skills.
Able to meet deadlines.
