A graduate in Civil Engineering from Wits University, Philip practiced for 4 years in his field of study and then did some benevolent work for some 8 years around the world where he gained excellent experience in dealing with diverse people across a wide range of sectors to include Governments, NGO’s, Private Companies. Shortly after he returned to South Africa in 1982, he founded PCS in 1983 and the company has for the last 40+ years grown from strength to strength in providing superlative service to their Clients & Candidates covering various sectors of the industry.
Lesley Holm has an Honours Degree in Biological Sciences and a Higher Diploma in Food Technology. She left the food industry after 18 years having risen to Business Unit Management level and has been with PCS since 2007 where she is responsible for the overall management of the various Recruitment Sections. She also recruits for the Food & Scientific Industries and has been doing so with her team since 2010.
Simon has been recruiting for the engineering and construction sectors since 2007. Before this he worked in the construction industry as a SHE Consultant for a consulting firm. His main speciality has been in the civil engineering field, sourcing Foremen to Senior Managers, Design Engineers/Technicians, Resident Engineers etc. for positions in South Africa, Africa & the Middle East.
Estelle started with PCS in 2017 as the Human Resources Manager. Having extensive training in the field of people in general, she has for the last several years been in charge of running the HR Division and handling the internal recruitment and coordination of the team. She is instrumental in sourcing high caliber staff for our various divisions, the performance of the team and the smooth operation of the office.
Jean has been in the recruitment industry since 2005 when she joined PCS within the Hospitality Division. In 2012, due to her love of travel she moved over to head up the Travel recruitment division. As a result of her knowledge and experience recruiting for both industries, she now heads up the combined Travel and Hospitality division. She has also branched out and specializes in Marketing positions as well. She works hand in hand with our specialist researchers to ensure we provide the best service possible to our clients and applicants and she strives to assist candidates in developing their careers and clients in finding their ideal employees.
Serina has been with PCS since 2012. She started her career at PCS as a Consultant Assistant in the Engineering department. She then moved over to heading the Team of Assistants, coordinating the preparation of Candidates’ CV’s, the advertising of vacancies on the various job portals and the Verification Checks as a qualified Biometrics Officer.
Gina Pond started her career with PCS in 2008 as an Assistant to the Construction Department. Having a qualification in Sales and Marketing, she has for the last several years been in charge of promotion. She is instrumental in bringing to the attention of our various Clients across our various niche markets the top caliber of Selected Candidates who have been screened, interviewed & reference checked by our Specialist Recruiters thus acting as a catalyst for their expansion.
Richard graduated with a BSc in Informatics & Decision Making Modelling and has been in the recruitment industry for the past 17 years. He joined the PCS team in 2019 and currently heads up the Researchers/Talent Acquisition Section, leading a team of professionals in sourcing highly specific candidates for a vast array of clients. He himself specialises in sourcing candidates for the broad engineering / technical sector.
Natesha joined PCS in early 2023 as a Specialist Recruiter and currently leads the HR, Finance & Office Support Section. With over 17 years of experience in recruitment, she has developed a strong reputation for her expertise in the financial sector, consistently placing candidates in roles ranging from entry-level to senior leadership positions. Natesha is known for her keen insight into the market and her ability to provide tailored recruitment solutions that meet the unique needs of her clients.
As the leader of a dedicated and professional team, Natesha fosters an environment of collaboration and excellence, driving the section’s success through strong leadership, deep sector knowledge, and a commitment to high-quality service.
Siya began her career with PCS in 2015 as an Admin Assistant, later transitioning into a Researcher role for the Hospitality and Legal Departments in 2019. Since then, she has developed into a full-fledged Specialist Recruiter, heading the Legal and Insurance recruitment department. Her progression from assistant to recruiter has provided her with an in-depth understanding of both applicants’ and employers’ needs, enabling her to find the ideal balance between the two. Siya is dedicated to helping employers find their ideal candidates and supporting candidates in advancing their careers.
Theresa has been in the recruitment arena since the year 2000. For the last 12 years she has been specialising in the building and design sectors. Her main specialty has been sourcing across the board for the following sectors: Construction, Property Development & Management, PQS consulting firms, Architecture and Interior Design, Shopfitting companies and many more. Together with her team of 4 specialist recruiters, she has been recruiting for South Africa and Africa.
Adele Bolleurs has been in Accounting for the last 17 years and has a Technical Accounting Diploma. At PCS she is responsible for all day-to-day Accounting Operations.
