Job Description

Freight company is seeking an experienced and strategic Human Resources Manager to lead and manage the company’s full HR function. This role will serve as a key business partner to executive leadership, ensuring that the people strategy supports the company’s operational goals, growth plans, and long-term sustainability.

Qualifications
  • Degree in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, Labour Relations, or a related field
  • Postgraduate qualification being advantageous
Skills
  • A minimum of 10 years’ HR experience, including at least 5 years in a senior HR leadership role, is required.
  • Strong strategic leadership capability
  • Sound business acumen, and solid experience in managing HR within a demanding operational environment.
  • Experience in logistics, freight, warehousing, transport, or supply chain essential.
  • Registration with a recognised professional HR body such as SABPP will be an added advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of South African labour legislation, including the LRA, BCEA, EEA, SDA, OHSA, POPIA, UIF, and Compensation Fund requirements, and must be capable of applying this knowledge.
  • Be able to drive organisational effectiveness and support business performance.
Salary/Package
R30K -R40K
