Your responsibilities will be the following:

• Proactively engage and negotiate with a diverse network of scrap suppliers, including large-scale scrap metal dealers and industrial scrap generators, to secure the purchase of scrap metal at competitive rates.
• Build, maintain, and nurture strong, long-term customer relationships with existing and potential suppliers.
• Act as the first line of support for suppliers, efficiently handling and resolving all account queries, pricing questions, and complaints.
• Conduct regular supplier site visits to physically inspect available materials, assess quality/grades, and accurately evaluate volumes for purchase.
• Maintain clear communication with the scrap metal buying department management, providing regular updates on market trends, supplier activity, and procurement volumes.
