Job Description

Our client is seeking a dynamic and professional Front Office Manager to lead the reception team and ensure exceptional guest service. This role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced hospitality environment. Please note: the position involves shift work, including weekends and public holidays.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily front office operations, ensuring smooth check-in and check-out processes.
  • Manage and train front office staff, fostering a culture of service excellence.
  • Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and feedback with professionalism.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping, reservations, and other departments for seamless operations.
  • Monitor occupancy, room allocation, and revenue opportunities.
  • Prepare reports and maintain accurate records of front office activities.
Qualifications
  • Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management or related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in a front office supervisory or management role.
  • Strong knowledge of hotel systems and reservation platforms.
  • Proven track record of delivering excellent customer service.

Salary/Package
R8500 – R18 000 depending on experience
