Our client is looking to appoint an experienced Conveyancing Secretary with specific expertise in distressed property transfers and bond cancellations. The successful candidate will have current, hands-on experience managing transfer registrations and related conveyancing matters within a high-volume, deadline-driven environment.
You will be responsible for:
• Managing transfer registrations and related conveyancing transactions
• Ensuring compliance with bank processing guidelines and service-level requirements
• Liaising with banks, clients, attorneys and other relevant stakeholders throughout the transfer process
• Preparing, processing and managing transfer and bond cancellation documentation and securities
• Attending to all administrative functions relating to transfer and bond cancellation matters
• Maintaining accurate records and ensuring matters are progressed efficiently through to registration
The successful candidate will have:
• Current experience handling ABSA Help-U-Sell transfers
• Current experience handling ABSA Sheriff transfers
• Current experience with ABSA legal bond cancellations
• Current experience handling Standard Bank EasySell transfers
• Experience with liquidation transfers
• Proficiency in DM11 and E4 systems
• Strong understanding of conveyancing procedures, bank requirements and transfer processes
• Excellent administrative, organizational and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple files and work accurately under pressure
