Job Description
You will be responsible for the following:
Preventative and breakdown maintenance on heat treatment furnaces.
Electrical fault finding.
Mechanical maintenance.
General plant maintenance.
Repairs on pumps, motors, conveyors and associated factory equipment.
Assist with continuous improvement projects.
Standby every third week after probation.
Work closely with experienced maintenance staff to learn the specialised furnace processes.
Qualifications
Trade Tested Millwright
Skills
Ideally 3 years’ post-trade experience.
Gas systems knowledge.
PLC fault-finding.
Pneumatics and hydraulics.
Experience on furnaces, kilns, ovens or other thermal processing equipment.
Supervisory or people management experience.
Strong leadership skills with possibility of growing into a mid-management role.
Salary/Package
R25k – R30k per month
