Job Description

Quality control
Attending breakdowns
Troubleshooting fleet breakdowns
Inspect, diagnose, and repair diesel engines and related systems
Perform preventive maintenance: oil changes, filter replacements, lubrication, fluid checks
Do planned and unplanned maintenance on the fleet

Qualifications

A Red Seal Diesel Mechanic Qualification

Skills

Minimum of 5 years post qualification working experience
Experience in truck and trailer maintenance
Experience in Volvo and UD trucks will be an advantage
Experience on Plant machinery will be an advantage
Have a valid code 8 driver’s license and a reliable motor vehicle

Salary/Package

R25 000 – R35 000 Per month
