Job Description
Your responsibilities will be the following:
Turning enquiries and leads into quotes, following up and closing deals.
Building strong, long-term customer relationships
Following up proactively and growing repeat and new business
Advising customers on products, specifications and solutions
Identifying upselling and cross-selling opportunities
Preparing accurate quotes and handling pricing, quantities and calculations
Coordinating orders and quotes to meet customer deadlines
Keeping customers informed and solving problems when challenges arise
Managing leads, quotes and customer activity using monday.com, QuickBooks Online, Outlook and Excel
Qualifications
Matric
Skills
Minimum 2 years’ experience in internal sales, technical sales, customer service, construction and building materials, manufacturing, wholesale/hardware, packaging, insulation, plastics, signage, quantity surveying, engineering-related sales or a similar fast-paced and deadline driven environment
Must understand the building industry and different phases of the construction process even if you have not worked in it previously
Fluent English and Afrikaans
Salary/Package
R8,000 -R10,000 CTC PM plus Commission
