My client is seeking an analytical and well-organised Demand Planner to join their Supply Chain team. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Develop and maintain demand forecasts for finished goods across product categories, customers and distribution channels
• Review forecast accuracy regularly and investigate significant variances between forecast and actual sales
• Maintain appropriate forecasting assumptions and planning parameters for each product
• Coordinate the monthly demand review process and contribute to the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) cycle
• Present demand forecasts, risks, opportunities and recommendations to management.
• Monitor finished goods inventory levels to ensure product availability and minimise stock-outs
• Identify slow-moving, excess, obsolete and short-dated stock
• Translate the approved demand forecast into inputs for production and replenishment planning
