Job Description

Our client is seeking an experienced Front of House Manager to lead operations at their new luxury Restaurant on a Wine Farm. This role requires a dynamic leader with a passion for hospitality, exceptional guest service and strong operational expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily front-of-house operations to ensure seamless service.
  • Lead, train, and motivate the service team to deliver world-class hospitality.
  • Manage reservations, guest relations, and VIP experiences.
  • Monitor service standards, ensuring consistency and excellence.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen and bar teams to maintain smooth operations.
  • Handle customer feedback and resolve issues professionally.
  • Manage stock control, cash-ups, and reporting.
  • Uphold hygiene, safety, and compliance standards.
  • Drive revenue growth through upselling and guest engagement.
Qualifications
  • Minimum Grade 12 / Matric; hospitality qualification preferred.
  • At least 5–7 years’ experience in a luxury restaurant or fine dining environment.
  • Proven track record in front-of-house management.

Salary/Package
R20 000 – R25 000 basic before deductions.
