My client is a leading provider of material testing services for the civil engineering and construction industries.
Job Description

The Site Laboratory Quality Manager is responsible for ensuring that all site laboratories comply with SANAS 17025 standards.  There will be extensive national travel in this position – 2 weeks a month away from home. 

  • MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE in Geotechnical Materials
  • Ensure that site laboratories are set up according to SANAS 17025 standards
  • Conduct regular audits of site labs to ensure ongoing compliance
  • Provide training and support to site labs
  • Maintain accurate record of all compliance activities
  • Identify non-compliance issues and implement corrective actions to address them
  • Prepare and submit compliance reports to management
Qualifications
  • Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or related field
  • Knowledge of SANAS 17025 standards and requirements
  • 8 Years experience in similar role
Skills
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Salary/Package
R30 000 to R35 000 depending on experience
