Job Description
Coordinate and control multimodal export shipments (sea, air, and road)
Prepare, process, and verify all export documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, certificates, and related paperwork
Ensure full compliance with SARS export regulations and customs requirements
Perform export declarations and submissions using the EasyClear system
Liaise with freight forwarders, shipping lines, transporters, clearing agents, and clients
Track shipments and proactively resolve any delays, discrepancies, or documentation issues
Maintain accurate records and filing in line with company and regulatory standards
Provide regular shipment updates to internal and external stakeholders
Qualifications
Senior certificate
Logistics related qualification
Skills
Full understanding of Shipping (handling files from A-Z)
Proven experience as an Export Controller or in a similar export/logistics role
Strong knowledge of multimodal export processes
Solid understanding of SARS customs procedures and export compliance
Proficiency on EasyClear, Shipshape system
Excellent attention to detail, particularly with export documentation
Strong communication and coordination skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Proficiency in MS Office and export-related systems
Salary/Package
R350K- R450K CTC P/A
