Perform diagnostics, repairs, and routine maintenance on: – 4×4 and 6×6 heavy-duty construction trucks (concrete mixers, dump trucks, trucks with mounted cranes) – All-terrain cranes – Yellow plant machinery (dozers, TLBs, excavators, drill rigs, compressors, lifting machinery, etc.)
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and basic electrical systems.
• Ensure all equipment is maintained to safe operating standards.
• Keep accurate service records and report on completed work.
• Provide on-site support for breakdowns and preventative maintenance at project camps.
Relevant trade qualification/certification (advantageous).
• Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic in construction/heavy equipment.
• Strong knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and diesel engine systems.
• Preferable experience in all-terrain cranes and drill rigs maintenance/repair.
• Basic knowledge of electrical components will be an advantage.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
• Relevant trade qualification/certification (advantageous).
• Willingness to travel to sites and camps when required
