Job Description

My client is looking for a plant manager to take responsibility for the following broad areas:

  • Production including smooth running of production planning
  • Maintenance (including preventative management)  and Asset Management
  • Warehouse and Logistics areas
  • Continuous Improvement Projects
  • Ensure Food Safety and Regulatory Compliance within the Plant which is FSSC 22 000 certified
Qualifications

At least a relevant tertiary qualification – Operations, Production management, Commercial or other Technical Qual.

Skills
  • I am looking for a hands-on, active plant manager who will spend the bulk of his time in the plant, not sitting at a desk.  THIS IS NOT A CORPORATE POSITION.
  • Afrikaans Speaking a distinct advantage
  • Must be Tech-savvy and have worked with ERP and production Planning Systems.
