Job Description
Lead and supervise approximately 10 workshop employees, including welders and grinders.
Manage daily workshop and manufacturing operations.
Allocate and coordinate manufacturing job cards.
Fabricate crusher components according to engineering drawings.
Monitor workflow, production deadlines and quality standards.
Be hands-on with welding and fabrication when required.
Demonstrate correct welding and workshop practices and lead by example.
Motivate staff and maintain an efficient, productive workshop.
Qualifications
Boilermaker / Welder Trade will be advantageous
Skills
Minimum 5 years in steel manufacturing, fabrication or a similar heavy manufacturing environment.
Welding, fabrication, reading and interpreting technical drawings, and manufacturing crusher components.
Previous supervisory or team leadership experience advantageous, with strong people-management skills.
Afrikaans and English are essential; an additional African language is advantageous.
Salary/Package
R35 000 – R40 000 Per month
