Job Description
Your job responsibilities will be the following:
Identify and secure new customers across targeted industries.
Generate and follow up on sales leads.
Conduct customer visits and presentations.
Prepare and execute sales strategies to achieve growth targets.
Serve as the primary point of contact for customer enquiries.
Manage customer expectations and ensure high levels of service.
Prepare accurate quotations and proposals.
Review technical drawings, specifications and customer requirements.
Follow up on quotations and tenders submitted.
Negotiate pricing and commercial terms within company guidelines.
Liaise with production, procurement and management teams regarding customer orders.
Monitor project progress and provide customer feedback.
Qualifications
Matric
Technical qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, or similar field – Advantageous.
Skills
3–5 years’ sales experience in the engineering, manufacturing or industrial sector, preferably in the rubber and metal space.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
Experience reading engineering drawings and specifications will be highly advantageous.
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes such as:
Machining
Fabrication
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Knowledge of Pastel or any other ERP system would be advantageous
Salary/Package
R30,000 – R35,000 CTC PM
