Job Description
Maintain and support an existing Windows-based business application.
Diagnose and fix bugs in C# and VB.NET code.
Develop and enhance new functionality within the existing architecture.
Write, modify, and optimize SQL Server queries, stored procedures, views, and related database objects.
Investigate user-reported issues and provide timely resolutions.
Assist with testing and deployment of application updates.
Refactor and improve legacy code where appropriate without disrupting business operations.
Document changes and contribute to technical knowledge sharing.
Work directly with the senior developer to understand business processes and technical requirements.
Participate in discussions on future improvements and modernization opportunities.
Qualifications
Degree/Diploma
Skills
3 + years’ Full Stack Development experience
Solid experience with C# (.NET Framework / .NET).
Working knowledge of VB.NET and the ability to read and maintain existing VB.NET code.
Experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
Good understanding of:
Stored procedures
Views
Joins and query optimization
Transactions and data integrity
Experience maintaining or extending legacy applications.
Familiarity with source control systems (Git or similar).
Ability to troubleshoot and debug complex issues.
Experience with Windows desktop applications (WinForms/WPF).
Understanding of manufacturing, logistics, ERP, or operational business systems.
Experience with reporting tools.
Exposure to application modernization or migration projects.
Salary/Package
