Job Description

The Product Manager is responsible for the technical and commercial management, evaluation and development of refrigeration, HVAC and air-conditioning product portfolio.

  • Manage and continuously improve the company’s product portfolio.
  • Evaluate new products, suppliers and emerging technologies.
  • Assess product costs, margins, competitiveness and commercial viability.
  • Identify gaps, duplication and obsolete products within existing ranges.
  • Work with Procurement on product lifecycle, stock suitability and technical substitutions.
Qualifications
  • Formal technical qualification in refrigeration, HVAC or Mechanical Engineering
  • 3-5 years’ experience in refrigeration, HVAC and air-conditioning products and applications
Skills
  • Strong refrigeration, HVAC and air-conditioning product knowledge.
  • Ability to interpret technical specifications, performance data and equipment-selection requirements.
  • Inventory and product lifecycle understanding.
  • SAP Business One or similar ERP experience advantageous.
Salary/Package
R40 000-R50 000 CTC depending on experience
