Job Description
Reporting to the HOD, the Quantity Surveyor will:
Prepare cost estimates budgets and tender documentation for construction projects.
Handle all tenders
Measure quantities and prepare bills of quantities from drawings and specifications.
Monitor project costs evaluate variations and maintain cost control throughout the project lifecycle.
Assess contractor payment claims and prepare interim and final accounts.
Liaise with clients’ consultants and contractors to ensure projects are delivered within budget and contractual requirement
Qualifications
Relevant QS qualification (BTech or BSc)
Skills
3-5 years’ experience in estimating within a construction company
Strong estimating, measurement, and cost control skills
Proficiency in QS and estimating software (Candy, CCS, WinQS, Excel)
Solid understanding of construction contracts
Strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills
Ability to support multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
