Job Description

Our client is seeking 2 x Assistant Housekeeping Manager to join their team and prospective applicants must reside in Stellenbosch or Jamestown.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Staff supervision: Oversee daily housekeeping operations and staff performance
  • Quality control: Ensure rooms and public areas meet cleanliness and presentation standards
  • Training & development: Conduct training sessions and mentor team members
  • Scheduling: Prepare staff rosters and allocate tasks efficiently
  • Inventory management: Monitor and manage housekeeping supplies and equipment
  • Health & safety compliance: Enforce hygiene, safety, and sanitation protocols
  • Reporting: Provide regular updates to senior management on housekeeping operations
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3–5 years’ housekeeping management or supervisory experience within hospitality
  • Must hold Matric qualification
  • Strong knowledge of housekeeping standards and procedures
  • Must reside in Stellenbosch or Jamestown – NON NEGOTIABLE
Skills
  • Confident in guiding and motivating a team
  • Able to manage schedules, tasks and priorities effectively
  • Ensures high standards of cleanliness and presentation
Salary/Package
R12 500 – R13 000 basic before deductions
