In this role, reporting to the Site Manager, the General Foreman will handle:
Supervising daily site operations and coordinating construction activities
Managing labour teams, subcontractors, and ensuring productivity targets are met
Monitoring health and safety compliance on site and enforcing safety procedures
Reading and interpreting construction drawings and ensuring work is completed according to specifications
Reporting project progress, site issues, and material requirements to management
Qualifications
Minimum NQF4/5 TJEKA
Red Seal Advantageous
Skills
Minimum of 15 years’ experience working as a Senior / General Foreman within the construction industry
Proven track record in supervising both commercial and residential building projects
Strong leadership abilities with experience managing site teams and daily operations
Experience in structural, wet trades and finishing.
Capable of coordinating project schedules while maintaining quality and productivity standards
Sound knowledge of construction drawings, site procedures, and health and safety regulations
