•Manage daily transport scheduling and fleet service requirements.
•Dispatch drivers and ensure all route instructions are communicated accurately.
•Conduct driver debriefings and capture all relevant trip information.
•Monitor vehicle movements using fleet tracking systems and provide daily updates.
•Serve as the primary point of contact for drivers regarding operational issues.
•Ensure fleet vehicles remain roadworthy, compliant, clean, and correctly branded.
•Investigate, record, and report vehicle breakdowns, faults, and incidents.
•Maintain accurate transport records, reports, and administrative documentation.
•Coordinate driver appointments, including medical assessments and HR-related meetings.
•Issue, track, and audit company assets such as cell phones, tags, and other accessories.
•Conduct regular truck, equipment, and PPE audits to ensure compliance and availability.
•Monitor and enforce adherence to transport, safety, and company operational procedures.
•Grade 12 / Matric.
•Degree in Logistics or similar.
•Minimum of 5 years’ experience in fleet control or transport coordination.
•Proven leadership ability with a hands-on approach.
•Code 14 driver’s licence with PrDP.
•Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
•Experience working with fleet management and vehicle tracking systems.
•Sound geographical knowledge of Gauteng and surrounding areas.
•Ability to communicate in multiple African languages.
