My client is a supplier of hydraulic equipment, power tools, abrasives and specialised industrial tooling.
Job Description
The successful individual will be responsible but not limited to:
Manage product strategy, pricing, profitability, and range performance.
Manage procurement, supplier sourcing and commercial negotiations.
Lead development and management of house brand.
Manage suppliers, stock levels, sourcing, and commercial terms.
Maintain accurate product, procurement and supplier data, systems, dashboards, and analytics.
Support product marketing, branch training, and technical sales needs.
Qualifications
Technical diploma (N-Dip, trade or engineering) preferred
At least 5 years’ experience in a product management, category management or procurement role in the industrial tooling, hydraulics or technical industries
Skills
Procurement planning and supplier performance management
Hydraulic safety standards and testing
Salary/Package
R30 000 to R35 000 CTC depending on experience
